Go, my children, with my blessing
Go, my children, with my blessing. Jaroslav Vajda* (1919-2008).
This was written for an existing, well-known hymn tune in 1983. The text was first published in an SATB anthem setting by Carl Schalk* with organ (1984), and then in Vajda’s collection Now the Joyful Celebration: Hymns, Carols, and Songs (St Louis, 1987).
