My Lord, you wore no royal crown. Christopher Martin Idle* (1938- ). Written in November 1978 when the author was rector of Limehouse, after reading Hans Küng’s On Being a Christian. It follows Küng in seeing Jesus Christ as transcending leadership models, and ends with a personal prayer.
