Who will man the Life-Boat

Who will man the Life-Boat. Carrie Breck* (1855-1934).  This was first published in The Gospel Choir No. 2 (New York, 1895), edited by Ira D. Sankey*, James McGranahan* and George C. Stebbins*. It was printed in Britain in The Christian Choir one year later (possibly a British imprint of the same book?). It is not listed as appearing thereafter in the USA by Hymnary.org, but it was taken up by Sankey for Sacred Songs and Solos (1903) and included in very successful Sunday School Hymnary* (1905), edited by Carey Bonner*.  It had three stanzas and a refrain.
