The poem was posthumously published in the author’s Eight Hymns, In Context (1980) under the title ‘For a Recognition of God’s Feminine Attributes’. It then appeared in several North American hymnals including UMH (1989), Hymnal: A Worship Book (1992), The New Century Hymnal (1995), The Covenant Hymnal (1996), and the Canadian VU (1996).
