The Bible stands like a rock undaunted. Haldor Lillenas* (1885-1959).
Written in 1917, when Lillenas was pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, Auburn, Illinois (1916-1919). It was published in Tabernacle Hymns, No 2 (Chicago, 1921), edited by Arthur McKee, with a tune by Lillenas. It is found in Hymns for the Living Church (1974) with a tune by Donald P.
