Tai Jun Park
PARK, Tai Jun (Chai Hoon Park). b. 22 Nov 1900; d. 20 October 1986. Born at Taegu, Korea, he was educated at Union Christian College, Pyeng Yang (Pyongang), graduating in 1921. He later studied at the Presbyterian-affiliated Tusculum College, Greeneville, Tennessee, and Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey (MMus, 1936). He was appointed Professor of Sacred Music at Yonsei University, Seoul, becoming President of the Music Association of Korea and of the Korean Church Music Association.
