Stuart Ludbrook
Ludbrook, Stuart. b. Middlesbrough, 1955.
Stuart Ludbrook was educated in Coventry and at Leeds Polytechnic where he studied European Languages and Institutions. He studied theology at St John’s, Nottingham, and took his Master’s degree at Vaux sur Seine, France. In 1998 he gained a joint PhD in Theology and Social Anthropology from the Sorbonne and the Paris Catholic University, specializing in French Protestant Liturgy.
He was ordained as a Baptist minister, working in France. He represented the Fédération Baptiste in the group which compiled the Franco-Swiss Protestant hymnbook Alléluia (2005). He was the documentalist/librarian of the ecumenical team that produced Ensemble (2002),...
