Stephen Paul Starke

STARKE, Stephen Paul. b. Bay City, Michigan, 25 October 1955. Starke was trained in Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod institutions, earning an AA at Concordia Lutheran Junior College (now Concordia University Ann Arbor) in Ann Arbor, Michigan (1975) and a BA in secondary education (with an art major and a music minor) at Concordia Teachers’ College (now Concordia University Chicago) in River Forest, Illinois (1977). Upon graduation he spent a successful year teaching art at Luther High School North in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
