Ruth C. Duck
DUCK, Ruth Carolyn. b. Washington, DC, 21 November 1947; d. Claremont, California, 26 December 2024. Ruth Duck graduated from Southwestern at Memphis (now Rhodes College), Tennessee (BA, 1969). She attended Chicago Theological Seminary (MDiv, 1973); University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana (MA, 1987); and Boston University School of Theology (ThD, 1989). The Chicago Theological Seminary awarded her a Doctor of Divinity degree in 1983. She was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1974, after which she served at Pilgrim Congregational Church UCC at Oak Park, Illinois (1974-75); St John’s UCC at Hartford, Wisconsin (1975-79) and Bethel-Bethany UCC, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1979-84)...
