Roland Fudge
FUDGE, Roland. b. Bristol, 1947. He studied at Birmingham University, where his teachers included John Joubert, and at the Royal Academy of Music. He has subsequently worked as a performer, teacher, composer, and arranger. His compositions include a concerto for trombone and orchestra and several large scale works for chorus and orchestra. In hymnody, he is primarily associated with the Mission Praise* series of hymnals. He served alongside Peter Horrobin* and Greg Leavers as a compiler for the first volume, and has contributed many musical arrangements to the series, as well as to related volumes such as Junior Praise*.
