Randle Manwaring
MANWARING, Randle. b. 3 May 1912; d. Newick, Sussex, 31 December 2010. He was an insurance broker and director of various Insurance Companies between 1930 and 1980, with a break for war service (Wing Commander, Royal Air Force, 1940-46; Vice-President, RAF Regiment, from 1990; Vice-President, Crusaders' Union since 1983). He was the author of nine books (one entitled A Study of Hymnwriting and Hymnsinging in the Christian Church, 1991), including 15 volumes of poetry. His two best known hymns are ‘We shall see him in the morning’ and ‘With loving hands’.
