Plausu chorus laetabundo. Latin Sequence*, author unknown.
Together with ‘Iucundare, plebs fidelis’, this anonymous Latin Sequence forms the text on which Robert Campbell* based the translation, ‘Come, pure hearts, in sweetest measures’*. See the entry on that hymn. It was also translated by Jackson Mason* as ‘Come sing, ye choirs exultant’*, used in the Second Edition of A&M (1875)...
