Peter Horrobin
HORROBIN, Peter. b. Bolton, Lancashire, November 1943. Educated at King’s College School, Wimbledon, and Christ Church, Oxford, where he studied Chemistry, he worked in higher education and the publishing industry before moving into Christian ministry in 1986. In November of that year, he founded Ellel Ministries, focused on healing and the training of Christian leaders, inspired by Luke 9: 11, ‘He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.’ This grew into an international organisation, with branches on all continents. Horrobin and his wife, Fiona, retired as leaders of Ellel Ministries International in 2022.
