Mary Louise VanDyke
VANDYKE, Mary Louise Enigson. b. Rochester, Pennsylvania, 28 Feb 1927. Hymnological researcher, author and educator, VanDyke attended the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Oberlin, Ohio (BME, 1947), Western Reserve University [now, Case Western Reserve University] Cleveland, Ohio (MA, 1953), and Kent State University, Kent, Ohio (MA, 1967).
VanDyke served as Library Associate, Oberlin College, (1984-2010), and from 1984 until 2010, she was Coordinator of the Dictionary of American Hymnology Project (subsequently the Dictionary of North American Hymnology*), a work hosted by Oberlin College.
