Mark Sedio

SEDIO, Mark. b. Minneapolis, Minnesota, 16 November 1954. He studied music at Augsburg College, Minneapolis (BA 1976), the University of Iowa (MA 1979), in the MDiv program at Luther Seminary, St Paul, MN (1982-1986), and in the liturgical studies program at St John’s University, St Joseph, MN (2003). At Luther Seminary he directed the choir for six years and played the organ for chapel services for twenty-five years. He taught music history and world music, conducted the Chapel Choir at Gustavus Adolphus College, and has served as chapel organist at Augsburg College where he conducted the Augsburg Choir in 2010.
