Marilyn Kay Stulken
STULKEN, Marilyn Kay (Rench). b. Hastings, Nebraska, 13 August 1941; d. Franklin, Wisconsin, 28 December 2021. Distinguished hymnologist, teacher, organist, Stulken began her studies in church music and organ at Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska (BA 1962); and continued with graduate study at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York (MMus 1967; DMA 1975). She taught at Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa; the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Kenosha, Wisconsin; and Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, Wisconsin.
