Marcell Silva Steuernagel is a Lutheran ethnomusicologist, educator, conductor, guitarist, enlivener of congregational song, and composer. He is an Associate Professor of Church Music and Director of the Master of Sacred Music and Doctor of Pastoral Music Programs at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University*, Dallas, Texas, where he has taught since 2018.
