Maggi Dawn
DAWN, Maggi Eleanor. b. 1959. Maggi Dawn is a British musician, author, theologian, and Church of England priest. Prior to ordination, she worked as a singer-songwriter. She remains active as a guitarist and singer. She held chaplaincies at King’s College and Robinson College, Cambridge University; from 2011 to 2019 she was Associate Dean for Marquand Chapel and Associate Professor of Theology and Literature at Yale University. She was Principal of St Mary’s College, Durham University, UK from 2019 to 2022, and is a Professor in the University’s Department of Theology and Religion.
