Luther Roby
ROBY, Luther. b. Amherst, New Hampshire, 8 January 1801; d. Concord, New Hampshire, 22 February 1883. He was a printer of the Bible, and first editor of the New Hampshire Statesman (1823-24). He was also an historian of French-American culture,and a granite quarry operator. He published Original and Selected Reformation Hymns… dedicated to the Twelve Tribes of the Lord’s Modern Israel (Concord, New Hampshire, 1829), in which a text of ‘Could we with ink the ocean fill’* appeared.
