Loved with everlasting love
Loved with everlasting love. George Wade Robinson* (1838-1877).
First published in Hymns of Consecration and Faith, and Sacred Songs for Missions, Prayer, and Praise Meetings (1876) edited by James Mountain*. Mountain wrote a tune, EVERLASTING LOVE, for this hymn. The hymn became popular in Free Church and evangelical books (MHB, BHB, and others). In Britain it is still found in Praise! (2000) and in the Song Book of the Salvation Army (1953 and 1986 editions). In the USA it is found in the Baptist Hymnal (1975 through 2008), and many other books.
