Lord, thy word abideth. Sir Henry Williams Baker* (1821-1877). Written for the First Edition of A&M (1861) and published there in the ‘General Hymns’ section with the text ‘Thy Word is a lantern unto my feet, and a light unto my paths’ (from Psalm 119: 105).
