Linda Stassen
STASSEN, Linda Lee. b. LaPorte, Indiana, 19 September 1951. Stassen was educated at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, and EI Camino College in Torrence, California. During the 1970s she was associated with Calvary Chapel, and Maranatha! Music, in Costa Mesa, California, (see Karen Lafferty*) and sang and recorded for various ensembles such as ‘David’ (1974-75) and ‘New Song’ (1975-77). Her round, ‘Sing alleluia to the Lord’*, appears in various modern hymnals, usually with additional stanzas.
