Let the round world with songs rejoice. Latin, perhaps 11th century, translated by Richard Mant* (1776-1848). This hymn for the Apostles is a translation of the Roman Breviary version of ‘Exultet coelum laudibus’*, beginning ‘Exultet orbis gaudiis’. It is from Mant's Ancient Hymns from the Roman Breviary (1837).
