John Ambrose
AMBROSE, John Edward. b. Ottawa, Ontario, 30 January 1936. Minister, denominational worship official, and hymnal editor, John Ambrose received degrees at Carlton University (BA, 1959), Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto (MDiv, 1962), and University of Notre Dame (MA, Liturgical Studies, 1982). Following his ordination as a minister in The United Church of Canada (1962), he served congregations in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
