J. Michael McMahon
McMAHON, J. Michael. b. Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania; 6 April 1951. An ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Mike McMahon began his tenure as Executive Director of The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada* on 1 September 2018. He grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he attended a Catholic elementary school, sang in the parish boys’ choir, and began studies in piano and organ.
