Ich singe dir mit Herz und Mund. Paul Gerhardt* (1607-1676). First published in Johann Crüger* and Christoph Runge*’s D.M. Luthers und andere vornehmen geistreichen und gelehrten Männer geistliche Lieder und Psalmen (Berlin, 1653), with eighteen 4-line stanzas. All are found in EG, in the ‘Loben und Danken’ (‘praise and thanks’) section (EG 324).
