Howard 'Rusty' Edwards
EDWARDS, Howard Milton III. b. Dixon, Illinois, 22 January 1955. ‘Rusty’ Edwards was educated at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (BME, 1976). After a short period of teaching, he graduated from Luther Northwestern Seminary (now Luther Seminary*), St Paul, Minnesota (MDiv, 1985), and the Graduate Theological Foundation in Notre Dame, Indiana (DMin, 1990). He was assistant/associate pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline, Illinois (1985-91); senior pastor, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Rockford, Illinois (1991-98); and senior pastor at Christ Lutheran Church, Marietta, Georgia (1998-2015).
