Hilary Jean Jolly
JOLLY, Hilary Jean. b. Watford, Hertfordshire, 21 February 1945. She was educated at Watford Girls’ Grammar School and l’Ecole d’Etudes Bilingues du Lycée Francais de Londres. After some years as an office administrator with a medical association she worked part-time for St Andrew the Great Church, Cambridge (1994-2002), as a charity shop manager for a Christian youth and community centre from 1999, and as a support worker for people with schizophrenia, from 2003. Her hymn-writing began at Cambridge in the 1990s.
