Here from all nations, all tongues and all peoples. Christopher Martin Idle* (1938- ). Written during Idle’s incumbency at Poplar in 1972, and published in Psalm Praise (1973). It is based on Revelation 5: 12-14. It was written with the tune O QUANTA QUALIA in mind, and was set to that tune in HfTC (1982). It has been the most requested of the author’s hymns, appearing in many British books, including BPW, Sing Glory, A&MCP.(2000) and A&MRW (2013). In Ireland it was in ICH5 (2000) and the Irish Presbyterian Hymnbook (2004). In the USA and Canada it was chosen by Donald P.
