Henry Legh Richmond Deck
DECK, Henry Legh Richmond. b. Kingston-upon-Hull, 30 May 1853; d. Folkestone, 14 October 1910. He was the nephew of James George Deck*. He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge (BA 1876, MA 1880), and took Holy Orders (deacon 1876, priest 1877). He was curate of Holy Trinity, Sunderland (1876-77), St George’s, Bloomsbury, London (1877-80), and St Stephen’s, Kingston-upon Hull (1880-82; vicar 1882-89). He was vicar of Holy Trinity, Wicker, Sheffield (1889-92), and St Mark, Wolverhampton (1892-97), before moving to Christ Church, Folkestone, in 1897, where he remained until his death.
