Harry Plantinga
PLANTINGA, William Harry. b. Detroit, Michigan, 19 April 1961. Harry Plantinga has been a professor of computer science at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, Michigan, since 1999. He received degrees from Calvin College (BS in physics, 1983) and the University of Wisconsin—Madison (PhD in computer science, 1988).
Plantinga was raised in a family of academics, teachers, pastors, and missionaries in the Dutch Reformed tradition. His father, Alvin, is a prominent philosopher of religion who taught at Calvin University and later at the University of Notre Dame.
