Graham Deans
DEANS, Graham Douglas Sutherland. b. Aberdeen, 15 August 1953. He was educated at Mackie Academy, Stonehaven, and the University of Aberdeen (MA 1974, BD 1977). He was licensed by the Presbytery of Aberdeen, 1977; he has served as assistant minister, Corstorphine, Edinburgh (1977-78), minister of Denbeath with Methilhill, Fife (1978-87), of St Mary’s Parish Church, Dumfries (1987-2002), of South Ronaldsay and Burray, Orkney (2002-08), and of Queen Street Church, Aberdeen (2008-17).
Deans holds an MTh degree from the University of Oxford (1999), and a DMin from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (2006) with a thesis, ‘“Play it again, Psalm!” Towards a Rediscovery of the Tradition of Metrical...
