God, bless Your church with strength. John A. Dalles* (1954- ). Written in 1984 for the 150th anniversary of the First Presbyterian Church, South Bend, Indiana, where Dalles was associate pastor at the time. It has three verses, beginning ‘God, bless Your church with strength’, ‘…with life’, and ‘…with hope’.
