Geraldine Latty

LATTY, Geraldine. b. 1963. Latty is a British songwriter and performer of West Indian descent. Her diverse religious background includes time spent in Pentecostal, Methodist and Baptist churches. A music graduate of Bath University, she taught music in a Catholic school in Bristol for 12 years. She has released six solo albums of her own music and has also featured prominently in recordings released by Spring Harvest*. Her music ranges from the highly syncopated ‘Giving it all to you’ (2000) to the simple ‘Holy Spirit, breath of heaven’.
