Ernest Edward Dugmore

DUGMORE, Ernest Edward. b. London, 16 January 1843; d. Salisbury, 10 March 1925. He was educated in London and at Wadham College, Oxford (BA 1867, MA 1869). He took Holy Orders (deacon 1867, priest 1870), and was assistant curate, St Peter’s Vauxhall, London (1867-72), and vicar of Parkstone, Dorset (1872-1910). He was made a canon of Salisbury Cathedral and prebendary of Gillingham Major (1890-1917); he was then prebendary of Netheravon (1917- ) and honorary chaplain to the bishop of Salisbury (1917-21).
