Emma Hornby
HORNBY, Emma Christine. b. Buckingham, 12 January 1973. She was educated at the Royal Latin School, Buckingham before spending two years at Stowe School, where her father was a master. She then went to Worcester College, Oxford (BA 1994, DPhil, 1999). She was a Junior Research Fellow at Worcester College (1997-99), and held a College Lectureship in Music at Christ Church, Oxford (1999-2003). She was an editorial assistant, later assistant editor, on the Canterbury Dictionary of Hymnology project at the University of Durham (full-time 2003-05, part-time until 2007), and later co-editor.
