Emily Brink
BRINK, Emily Ruth. b. Grand Rapids, Michigan, 21 October 1940. Brink, a noted church musician, worship leader and consultant, educator, and hymnal editor, attended Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan (BA in music, 1962), the University of Michigan (MM organ and church music, 1964), and Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois (PhD music theory, 1980). She taught music at the State University of New York at New Paltz (1966-1967), Trinity Christian College, Palos Heights, Illinois (1967-1974), and the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana (1974-1983). She has led workshops and lectured in Asia, Central America, the Middle East, and the UK.
