ANDERSON, (James) Donald. b. Windsor, Ontario, 26 February 1954. His qualifications include MusBac, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, 1978; M.A., University of Western Ontario [Western University], London, ON, 1980; M.Phil. degree in musicology at the Graduate School of City University of New York, 1992.
Donald Anderson started his music career at University of Western Ontario working on bibliographic entries for a catalog of an historical operatic collection, and later as index editor and abstractor in New York City with the Répertoire internationale de la littérature musicale (RILM Abstracts of Music Literature), writing abstracts of scholarly music literature from 1980 to 1985.
