David Iliff

ILIFF, David. b. Margate, Kent, 19 March 1939. Educated at King Henry VIII Grammar School, Coventry and the University of London. He was Director of Music at Watford Grammar School (1961-83) and at the British School in Brussels, (1983-2001). He was also Director of Music at the large suburban Anglican Church of Emmanuel, Northwood, Middlesex (1961-81) and at the Pro-Cathedral in Brussels from 1996 onwards. He was a founder member of Jubilate Hymns* in 1980, becoming a Director in 1997. He served on the Music Committee of HFTC (1982), and was Music Editor of Carols for Today (1986), Psalms for Today (1990), and Sing Glory (1999).
