David Gordon Wilson
WILSON, David Gordon. b. Greenwich, London, 26 January 1940. Educated at Colfe's Grammar School and the University of Manchester (botany); then at Clare College, Cambridge (theology) and Ridley Hall (deacon 1965, priest 1966). After curacies in Clapham (1965-69) and South Kensington (1965-73), he held incumbencies in Leicester (1973-84) and Osterley, West London (1984-2005), retiring in that year. He was made a Prebendary of St Paul's Cathedral in 2002. He was a contributor to Youth Praise 1 (1966) and contributor and music editor to Youth Praise 2 (1969).
