Daniel Schutte

SCHUTTE, Daniel L. b. Neenah, Wisconsin, 28 December 1947. Schutte was educated at St Louis University, St Louis, Missouri (BS, 1972); the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California (MDiv 1980), and the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley (MTh 1982). Following ordination as a Jesuit priest, he taught music and theology in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Schutte served as director of liturgy, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1981-86), has directed music at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish in the same city (1987-92), and the Corpus Christi Catholic parish, Milwaukee (1993-99); and in 2000 was named director of university ministry and composer in...
