Constance Coote
COOTE, Constance (née Headlam). b. Tunbridge Wells, Kent, 30 December 1844; d. Tunbridge Wells, 16 August 1936. In 1879 she married, as his second wife, the Revd Algernon Coote (1817-99). He succeeded his brother as the 11th Premier Baronet of Ireland in 1895, and Constance became Lady Coote. Her husband had been rector of Marsh Gibbon, Buckinghamshire (1844-56) and vicar of Nonington, Kent (1856-71); he had a house at Tunbridge Wells, but on succeeding to the Baronetcy he moved to Ballyfinn, Mountrath, Ireland, where he became High Sherriff of Queen’s County (now Laois), and also acted as secretary of the Irish Church Missions.
