Colin Thompson
THOMPSON, Colin Peter. b. Exeter, 18 November 1945. He was educated at the Royal Grammar School, Colchester, Essex, at Trinity College, Oxford (MA, DPhil), and at Mansfield College, Oxford. He was ordained as a Congregational minister in 1971, and became a minister of the United Reformed Church in 1972. As an academic and an ordained minister, he served as a lecturer in the School of European Studies and as a University Chaplain at the University of Sussex, before becoming a Fellow and Tutor of St Catherine’s College, Oxford, in 1989.
