Catherine Cameron
CAMERON, Catherine Bonnell Arnott Oskamp (née Bonnell). b. St John, New Brunswick, Canada, 27 March 1927; d. Claremont, California, USA, 26 July 2019. She was born into a Presbyterian preacher's family (she may have been related to J.G. Bonnell, author of ‘If life be long/ I will be glad’, based on Richard Baxter*’s ‘Lord, it belongs not to my care’*).
The Bonnell family immigrated to the U (nited States in 1935, at which point she became an American citizen. She was educated at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario (BA in English, 1949); and at the University of Southern California (MA, 1970, PhD 1971, in Social Psychology).
