Bring to the Lord a glad new song. Michael Arnold Perry* (1942-1996). These words were written early in 1973 for Parry*’s tune JERUSALEM, composed for William Blake*’s ‘And did those feet in ancient time’*. The final items of Psalm Praise were being assembled by its editor Michael Baughen*; the author, then vicar of Bitterne, Southampton, had served on the editorial group and at the eleventh hour submitted his text as a version of Psalms 149-150 combined.
