Bob Gillman

Gillman, Robert (Bob). b. West Ham, London, 16 June 1946. Bob Gillman received his education in the Borough of West Ham, including the local Catholic Junior School followed by South West Ham Technical School, finishing his education at Abbs Cross Technical School in Hornchurch. Retired now, his career included performing, composing, and pursuing his interest in steam-driven trains while managing a printing company. After passing the qualifying exams, Gillman worked for the London Underground where he finished his career as a signalman.  Gillman was encouraged by his parents to attend nearby Central Baptist Church in West Ham, making a profession of faith at age thirteen.
