All creating heavenly giver. Michael Saward* (1932-2015).
Written in 1979 at Ealing Vicarage for a Stewardship Programme in the parish. However, it is a traditional Trinitarian hymn, and can serve for any occasion or enterprise for which God’s blessing is sought. It has stanzas devoted to Father, Son (‘Ever-living Lord and Saviour’) and Holy Spirit (‘Life-conceiving wind of heaven’). Stanza 4 begins ‘Father, Son, and Holy Spirit’.
