Alda Marguerite Milner-Barry
MILNER-BARRY, Alda Marguerite. b. Scothorne (now Scothern), Lincolnshire, 18 August 1875; d. Weston-super-Mare, 15 April 1940. She was the daughter of the vicar of Scothorne, Edward Milner-Barry. She was the author of Lessons on the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. Junior Classes. Prepared for Use in South Africa (London and Johannesburg, 1939). A posthumous publication, edited with Dorothy Allsup, was Forms of Prayer and Praise for Use in Sunday School (1946). She was a student and an honorary lecturer at St Christopher’s College, Blackheath, south-east London.
