Alberto Taulé

Monsignor Alberto Taulé Viñas was a parish priest, professor of music, and a composer. Born in the autonomous region of Catalonia, north of Barcelona, he was the son of Josep Taulé and Dolors Viñas, a Catalan educator and journalist. Taulé composed approximately 30 congregational songs in the style of the sardana, a Catalan folk music genre that accompanies a circle dance with intricate steps that change with the music.
